Augsburg Adventure Park

I was pleasantly surprised with this park and the amount of time we were able to spend here. We were planning a get-together for 20 people, including 13 kids. Kids ranged in age from 4 months to 14 years old. This park was a centrally located spot for all of us, so we decided to meet here for three hours. It was expected that kids would get tired of the park within this time, but this was not the case. All kids were sad to go and would definitely have continued to play, had it not been for other commitments families had. Despite the heat of the day we met, the park was almost completely shaded, allowing for a cool breeze and zero complaints of being hot. Also, we were able to snag enough picnic tables to comfortably sit the full party of 20 together and enjoy a picnic lunch and birthday treats. Every kid played on the play equipment the majority of the time with the exception of the 14 year old, who was able to ride his hoverboard around the paths just outside of the park. For parents with quick little ones, the park only has one entrance and is fenced in. One thing I loved was the amount of sensory experiences the park provided. There were tactile games on the sides of the playground equipment, music equipment to listen to, and a wide variety of different structures for kids to explore, such as logs and bridges. It boasted an assortment of swings, a zipline, a merry-go-round, climbing structures for toddlers, and a tall tower that my kids loved to climb up. Located in Richfield, this is a great central location for most of the suburbs. Set a playdate, pack a picnic, and enjoy!
