New Ulm Wading Pools

Since it’s supposed to be a hot week in Minnesota, I’m going to recommend two amazing wading pools in New Ulm to beat the heat. Swimming is the one area of adventuring that makes me anxious taking all of my kids by myself. Wading pools are such an easy way to swim without those anxious feelings. Washington Park and Lincoln Park both have wading pools with the maximum height of 1 foot, 6 inches along with a slide at each and different water features. A , completely free activity to do as long it reaches 72 degrees that day, it’s such a fun family activity. It’s open to kids eight and under and fenced in for those kiddos who like to run. Definitely ideal for those kids who like the pool, but are not confident swimmers yet or for parents with multiple kids still learning to swim! Both parks also, have playgrounds that are great for all ages. They also, have indoor bathrooms at each. Lincoln Park does have a shaded area of the wading pool area for little ones that need less sun. As a heads-up, there is no lifeguard on duty. Highly recommend visiting Washington Park and/or Lincoln Park to cool off this summer!
