Wassermann Lake Preserve

There is just something about this park that makes it so incredibly beautiful. Located right on Wassermann Lake in Victoria, MN, it has the perfect mix of lake shore, wetlands, forest area, farm land, and prairie areas. We have been fortunate enough to witness several sunsets here and it never disappoints. One large shelter allows for the perfect picnic spot and has a couple of areas for fires. Amazingly well-kept, clean, and nice bathrooms allow this park to help feel luxurious in nature. A small, but fun nature play area allows kids to express creativity and get some energy out. Paths throughout the preserve allow for stunning views of the lake and a wide variety of landscapes.

There is also, another building area for kids that allows them to experiment with sticks of all sizes. Walking a little further, there is a beautiful boardwalk that weaves to another part of the preserve. At this area, there are additional picnic tables and a fishing pier. Overall, it’s a simple, but beautiful park preserve that offers so much beauty to all that visit. Take a picnic and your walking shoes and enjoy the views! I’d highly recommend visiting at sunset for a spectacular sight!
