The Little Green Wagon- Mankato, MN

Looking for a quick, fun stop at a pumpkin patch that is FREE? This is your place. It’s a small patch that is the perfect size for those young kids that get overwhelmed with too many activities. Conveniently located right outside Mankato and on the way to St. Peter, it’s in a great location. There is a you-pick pumpkin patch, but they also, have pumpkins already picked, ready to buy. An assortment of produce and farm fresh eggs are also, available. We bought fresh honey and honey sticks on our visit.

On the weekend we visited, they had a food truck with delicious cinnamon mini donuts. They were affordably priced for $6 for a bag of mini donuts. Activities include: a small corn pit, a straw bale maze, a truck with several slides down it, and some games. Several cute photo opportunities are sprinkled throughout the patch, allowing you to remember your visit. We always make a point to stop at this pumpkin patch each year as it’s fun, a great size place for little ones, and conveniently located. Also, the pumpkins are beautiful and there is a wide assortment. There is a port-a-potty on site and plenty of parking.
