Prehistoric Putt- Omaha, Nebraska

If you’ve followed me for a little bit, you know I have a dinosaur-loving son. When I found out there was a mini-putt place in Omaha that was all dinosaurs, we had to go! This was our third visit to Prehistoric Putt and it never gets old. Not only are there dinosaurs at almost every hole, but there are also extremely unique golfing opportunities. There are more than 40 dinosaurs located throughout Prehistoric Putt. While these golfing opportunities are the same for everyone, it is fun to see how different ages of people adapt and are able to complete the hole.

Made up of two different courses, a red course and blue course, every hole is unique. Each course has 18 holes. Some of the favorites are putting off a large spool, hitting your golf ball with a bat (a batting cage), a volcano shaped hole, a half pipe, and putting down a slide. Like I mentioned before, every age group attempts these challenges in different ways. Yet, everyone is able to golf the holes. To make things even more interesting, there are Jurassic spinners at most holes. These consist of different challenges or obstacles to attempt to make the hole harder, different, or more fun. There are a few mini putt golf courses in Nebraska and Missouri all owned by Let’s Go Putt, so if you find this one fun, then you should definitely check out the others.

Overall, this is such a fun experience for both adults and kids. It offers competitive and exciting golf while also, allowing for unique experiences with realistic looking dinosaurs. Despite visiting three times recently, every person we have gone with has enjoyed their time and wanted to go back. This is a true testament that Prehistoric Putt appeals to all age groups.
